Bangladesh does it again, they complete yet another series win at home after taking an unassailable 2-0 lead in this three-match series. Bangladesh's bowlers were terrific yet again throughout that innings although they were made to sweat when Raza and Chigumbura were steadily getting Zimbabwe to close. However, once that stand was broken it was all downhill for Zimbabwe. Most of their batsmen struggled to get in and if they did, couldn't find run-scoring too easy. Bangladesh has completed yet another win, this time without Shakib Al Hasan.

Zimbabwe captain Elton Chigumbura decided to field in the second ODI against Bangladesh in Mirpur. He also won the toss in the first match that they lost by 145 runs.

Bangladesh side had to make one change with Shakib Al Hasan gone off to New York for the birth of his daughter. Opening batsman Imrul Kayes replaced him.
